A lot of these same gift cards can be 5% off (or more) everyday using a specific credit card. Do your math on saving any money with fuel points factoring 5% as the baseline.

Done.
Don't believe the hype. I've had good and bad gas from the same station in the same day. They get what gets pumped out of the tanker that delivers to them
Per articles, Kroger gas may be, or may not be, top tier. Depends on the days supplier. Sometimes they get Shell, which is top tier, others days, they get Dirty Barney's pot luck gas.
Not using top tier gas does lead to added engine deposits.

Exactly, it depends on the days supplier....
Every station does it that way. Every drop of gas that comes from the same refinery is all the same. It then gets transported to holding stations near you and sits there till gas stations need it. Your gas station sends a truck to the holding station and delivers it to the station. It doesn't matter what name is on the side of the tanker truck, they pull in right behind one another and get the same fuel
