STARLINK9 seemed to work for the $150 plan but not the $250 plan

so $74.50 for a year... minus about $25 or so the insurance company deducts for vehicle tracking so about $50 per year, not too bad.

Thanks! Still have about a year left in my three year intro, but I added an extra year for $74.50 with the code STARLINK9.

I was only offered the $150 plan, not anything else.

As a heads up, it looks like you can do it multiple times.

I just went back and did it a second time at $74.50 for a year, so I got two years for the $149 price.

Nice find, I just got a pre-owned (with one year free trial of Safety Plus) and was wondering about this. I get $99 for 1-year of Safety Plus and $149 a year if you also add Security Plus....and $149 / $249 for 2-years. These prices are pre-code discount.

Called my insurance (Erie) and they said that the vehicle tracking discount is the same discount I already have for having an alarm system....so no benefit for me.

Even at half off for just the Safety Plus not sure I would use it enough....and just tried the code to see it doesn't work for me unless I buy the more expensive combo packages.

Good find for folks that want it.

the Starlink software on my 2016 Impreza is awful. Probably the worst software i've ever used.

Yeah, gotta love buying a new car and then having to buy a $2 plastic air vent phone holder so I can mount my 3-year old Android phone over my useless brand new 7 inch multimedia display running software written with abacus programming

This code still works. I just added two years of Starlink Safety Plus and Security Plus to my new Subaru for $80.

I completely agree. I had a 2014 Crosstrek with the Navigation, and now the 2016 model with the upgraded navigation over the 2014 -> they're both awful.

You know what else is terrible? The built-in handsfree mc, which everyone gets annoyed because of the terrible echo and wind noise and horrible audio quality. Heck, the car's handsfree voice commands rarely work because the car can't even hear me.

What pissed me off was the Subaru dealership's response, which was "yeah they all sound terrible like that, it's a Subaru thing." Thanks Staten Island Subaru. 31K miles, and been using a 3rd party mechanic since the second week of getting the car because I was so disappointed by them. I got one more year left one the lease, I am leaning towards other brands.

I'm really considering just taking the financial hit and trading it in for something else. I'm in Florida, I don't need AWD. I've seen some really good deals on year old Volvo S60's.

I tried trading out early, but the value of my 2016 plummeted because of the upgraded 2018 'redesign.' It would have been very very painful, in the area of a $6K difference between what is owed and the value it is worth now. I traded out of the 2014 early to a 2016 and it was a wash - the value owed on the loan was the same as the trade-in value at the 2 year market. I was bought out in full.
