This is not true. All US variants of the Galaxy S7 can be flashed to an equivalent stock firmware of any other US version. Just a few weeks ago I flashed my Verizon version (SM-G930V) to the US unlocked version (SM-G930U). I did not have to unlock any bootloader, root the phone, any custom recovery, etc. If you are using official signed stock firmware, all US versions can be flashed between them without tripping any security flags. Samsung Pay works perfectly fine, as I've used it numerous times.

I'm not in love with the return policy/warranty:

"...coverage for eligible Pre-Owned phones due to mechanical or electrical failure with valid warranty claim and phone return via claim shipping process. The replacement Pre-Owned phone may be different brand, model, and/or color or contain non-original manufacturer parts."

Anybody had any experience with their pre-owned phones and what kind of condition they come in? I wouldn't want a complete dud, and then have them replace the phone with something else of their choosing.

I have a couple pre owned purchases from them (both were iPhone 6) and they looked/functioned perfectly. I am almost sure there has been "duds" just like any other used item. I would say this is a decent deal. Not slick. Just good enough

A member claimed here in the old thread they were able to unlock their Galaxy S7 for around $9 and use it on Cricket. I'm not personally sure, however.

There are sellers that can perform remote unlocks on eBay according to this post.
