It seems really unlikely that most people will be really so pressed for space they need to sandwich a grinder and filter in with their mug... leaving you with the extra parts sitting around while you drink your cuppa. Oddly, they show using both the 'coffee cup' for coffee and the 'brewing and measuring cup' filled with coffee too. Wonder who screwed that one up. Just don't think the one advertising here with all of 9 reviews is a good way to go. Even if it is cheaper than buying the parts separately.
Just buy a decent manual grinder like Hario and an pour-over filter or Aeropress. Yes, it's not the cheapest, but if it's something you're going to be using all the time, $30+ for a grinder isn't all that much. Or you can try your luck with one of the steel cylinder $20 ones if you'd rather. Just
