How long are these deals generally good for? The Dell site says it could stop any time.It's pretty much what I'm looking for if I decide to go with a new 15.6" vs a 13".
I'm just trying to weigh the size difference.I'll be doing a lot of traveling after doing almost none for over 10 years.The last time I traveled a lot there weren't even any tablets(in my price range anyway) so a big laptop was the only option.

But they still cannot beat the 7th Gen HQ series because of their 15W TDP limit vs 45W in HQ series, especially during running for elongated period. The 45W TDP processors can maintain their Turbo Speed (Single and Multi Core) for longer period whereas the 15W 8th Gen U series throttles down while having load in all cores and running for longer.

Depends on needs. ASUS is smaller, lighter, but less powerful. Dell is heavier but has a graphics card and a 128gb SSD in addition to the 1TB traditional drive. So pick what means more to you.
