Solar Bird Bath Fountain Pump $9.98

Spring is right around the corner so I'm trying to stock up on the supplies I'll need for my wife's backyard aspirations before the price goes up again. While I was looking I noticed this bird bath pump had a promo code that drops the price just enough that I had to get one. Fakespot give this item an A rating and the promo code bring it down to a new all time low price accoring to CamelCamelCamel.

$14.99 - $5.01= $9.98 Promo Code: VS3MTDP2

For you maybe, but Spring doesn't start here until May. laugh out loud

Still prefer it over Autumn.

I have this, got it on a similar coupon last year... false promises!

With 100% noon full sun, it might throw water 4"/10cm high if you have the narrow nozzle on it.

I was hoping to use it to add some air to a little pool where frogs lay their eggs.

Any shading of ANY part of the solar disc (your hand a cloud, ANYTHING) shuts it off, and it takes about 10seconds to start "spraying again". The motor/impeller also has no screen so you have to make your own, it also doesn't stay up right. This is utter crud. Sadly.

I even tried it in the driveway in tupperware, the the doesn't throw water! It can barely manage to "pump" up the 2"/3cm vertical piping, let alone spray anything.

I think for something like $9.xx including shipping, you don't wanna be too choosy. I bought this for my son and he likes seeing birds coming over in our garden, so I will give a thumbup here.

Just FYI, this is cheap unbranded junk from China used for resale. You can find junk like this on Vipon for a lot cheaper. Here's a screenshot from Vipon for proof.
