These units are awesome and unbeatable, but this price is just ok. If you need one now I would go for it. It should be less in time. Either Lowe's or HD just had these on sale for a month in the 3 sizes. The big 77" unit goes for $140 quite frequently. No matter what you pay for these things you won't be disappointed. Just make sure you install it right where you want it. They are heavy.

This brand is worth more that competing brands as they have retained the strong smooth finish that is scratch resistant and allows assembly and disassembly mostly by hand. Other brands have moved to a cheap feeling chalky powder finish that scratches easily, rusts quickly when the finish scratches off, and requires a heavy mallet (and harsh language) to assemble/ disassemble.

But an alternative option for people who don't need to store a few dozen engine blocks, so worth a post. I haven't seen that type of shelf with the center support before.

Nope. Best Buy started selling this stuff pretty recently. Maybe less than a year ago if my mind is still with it. I don't go into B.B. too often so I'm not sure if they have something like this unit on display.
