It's ymmv stated in the title. If your account has it, it allows you to keep buying until at least a year, which is $60 for 12 months.

$5.00 plus applicable taxes for the first month

$9.99 plus applicable taxes every month after that

I had game pass last year through T-Mobile promo, stacked 6 of them and barely used it. I do get the $5 price though.
Maybe trying to get back past users as well as new ones?

Misleading. This is just $5 for the first month. It's $9.99 every following month. Not a good deal.

If it doesn't show for you, try disabling auto-renew on your account.



Microsoft recently announced they will be putting all first-party releases on Game Pass at launch, so this is a pretty good deal.
