Good Omens and American Gods news

Amazon Prime will be doing an adaption of Neil Gaiman's Good Omens and the cast is wonderful. It includes David Tennant, Mark Gattis, Anna Maxwell Martin, Steve Pemberton, Derek Jacobi and many other talented actors. It will be a six episode series that will launch next year.

In other Neil Gaiman news, they have a new showrunner for his American Gods adaptation season 2 on Starz, it's 'Lost' producer Jesse Alexander.
"Neil Gaiman will be taking more of a central role and moving forward into a more traditional showrunner function," Starz chief Chris Albrecht said last month [thewrap.com] at the Television Critics Association press tour. "And we're looking for a partner for him who can ensure that the television part of this gets appropriate attention."
