PSA: LL Bean free shipping raised to $50 minimum purchase
First the life-time guarantee disappears. Now the no minimum free shipping is gone.
As indicated on the LL Bean site:
"FREE STANDARD SHIPPING with $50 Purchase
Free standard shipping is valid on orders of $50 or more shipped to a single U.S. or Canadian address, after promotions and discounts are applied.
Purchase of Gift Cards and Outdoor Discovery Schools programs and taxes, shipping, oversized delivery or duty charges, do not apply toward the minimum purchase requirement."

As far as the lifetime guarantee, the wording is clear that if you take care of your garments, they will take care of you. Its a shame they had to change the policy just because of a small percentage of customers who abused the policy, but good for them for making the tough choice and calling out that group of abusers in the process.
