Got mine for $580 back in December and I mostly love it. The issues I had were that the rubber material it's made of is very very prone to fingerprints/absorbing oil from your hands, even if your hands are not oily. It does also have a TN panel if you have an issue with those. My other issue was that I think my hard drive was faulty. My disk was running at 99% most of the time without doing much. I'd be playing rocket league and it would cause some stuttering. I've since put an SSD in and it runs incredibly well.
Edit: Another thing, it's incredibly easy to access the insides that you can upgrade. It's one screw and then you have to pop the panel off and you have access to clean the fans, upgrade RAM to 16 gb, or swap drives.
This is the Inspiron 5577 with Intel processor and NVIDIA graphics card. I'm tracking this model for a while now and this is the lowest it has been (just the other day Newegg had it for 599). Seems like the price is slowly creeping down.... The question is... should I continue to wait? Decisions, decisions...
The mobile 10xx series is 99% the same as the discrete desktop version. Runs casual games like Dota2, CSGO, LoL on all max settings at 100+ fps
Runs Fortnite extremely well on high settings too.

How well would something like this play Witcher 3?
In order to play Witcher 3 you'd have to sacrifice a lot to make it playable. Dropping the res to 1366x768 and the settings to Medium seem to make it playable judging from the stuff I've seen online.

Thanks for info. So would a 1060 provide a big jump in performance ?
