Watch out folks...the last time they did this there was a huge catch - if for some reason one of your items was cancelled (e.g. out of stock) and total went below $60 you would not receive your $60 in SYWR. You'd have to contact customer service for help...
This actually isn't a bad move by Kmart/Sears. While people think they are getting something for free, you are basically just getting 50% off your purchase -- you pay $60 to get $120 worth of products. And Kmart gets to sell stuff they are trying to unload anyway (winter clothes right now, which most places are giving discounts on anyway). Plus, you are forced to buy it all within 7 days, and people end up buying things they might not have otherwise bought. It's a good deal if you were planning on making the purchases anyway. It's a terrible deal if you had no intentions of buying anything but figure it's cheap so you'll do it. Most people likely fall in the middle, and end up spending $60 on stuff that they might have just paid around $80 for. Not a bad discount for Kmart to get people to spend money.

These $60 in points. How much time do I get to finish them? Hope it's not 7 days!

The Kmart near me is closing in 2 months. Sears though is apparently sticking around for who knows how long.

It's a common business move, sale-leaseback, to avoid bankruptcy...but you gotta make enough to pay the lease. Who knows how many months/years he gets though...
