Maybe a wash, Costco get's you a 256 SSD but has the 7700; The i7 8700 is a significant upgrade, if you can actually use it.

I don't know. Maybe it is because I am in my 30's now but damn if these pre-built gaming cases are not the ugliest freaking things. Some of these gaming cases make an Alienware look suitable for an office.

the costco one also got 32 GB RAM instead of just 8 GB here
