amazon subscribe and save cancellation WARNING

Deal Details
So I was cancelling some subscriptions I didn't need/want, and were only one-off purchases.
All of them were the same as usual, hit the cancel button, onto the next. Except when I got to the baby diapers in my future orders.
THIS popped up:
Did you know you can edit your subscription and maintain your current discount?
If you'd like to change your size or modify your subscription and maintain your discount, click on "Edit Subscription" below.
If you cancel, you may not be eligible for the same discount you're getting today on future diaper subscriptions.
Is this something new they are doing? Everyone else getting this? Or is it because I cancel frequently for different sizes, ect.

i think its a warning that they will penalize people for buying with S&S for the discount, then cancelling subscription.
but i guess we will see. it is only on diapers, probably because diapers get a special 20% off (vs 15%) as part of the old "amazon mom" program

If the price remained the same, then there would be no need to cancel the subscriptions.
Off the top of my head, the S&S discount was changed on my pet food orders.
