avoiding sugar/carbs IHMO the best, safest, and most effective way of being in good shape all around. Especially empty sugars/carbs. Some veggies/fruits are ok.
You can eat all the meat (all kinds) and other stuff you want and still lose weight.
Traditionally it was thought that triglycerides were caused by eating fat, but it seems that's not really the case, it's a byproduct when transforming excess carbs to fat
