Yes it's good. Steel ammo costs more than this!
Reading through some of the reviews at Cabela's, some of the bad reviews are "in my custom gun", "brand new gun", one guy shot it in a 223 and had "popped primer". Which is a known issue while firing 556 in a 223 gun (from the increased chamber pressure).

It's been as cheap as $113.99 for 500 rounds shipped, which is a better deal than this one (though that was several months ago last time I saw the price).
Not so much better I'd pass this deal up if I needed it and couldn't get that one- but both ammos work equally well.

Yeah I only buy gold wolf but paid close to 280 for 1000 ammo

Which makes your comment about it really odd.
Like I said, if you need ammo right now, this deal is a good one, it's only a few cents a round more than I paid for the similar wolf stuff described mid-last-year.
