Remember that this is the 5V/1A (5W) wireless charging pad. If you want a 10W version from Anker, that's this item, and is $25.99 [amazon.com], though it might be $18 with coupon code ANKER253 (posted here, thanks DJ3Exclusive). Not promising that promo code is still active.
iPhone X will not charge at 10 W with any charger. It can accept up to 7.5 W from certain approved chargers but based on some MacRumors forum posts this isn't one of them.
Care to explain why? I have never used the 3rd party wireless chargers...

Do you know if the 10W version is better for the iPhone X?

It allows for a faster charge. If you are using it bedside at night it probably doesn't matter if it takes 2 hours or 4 hours to charge. If you plan on using it in your kitchen for a quick power boost, you probably want the 10w.

This is just the pad though. You need the power brick to plug this into.

Ok, good point. But if I plug this pad into a 10W wall plug, will it still only use 5W? It sounds like the iPhone X uses 7.5W to charge at full speed.

That promo code does still work. I just ordered 2 pads for $18 each. I've been using one of these for a couple months now and it works wonderfully. It's so nice to just drop your phone on the pad instead of plugging it in. I have a spigen tough armor case that it charges with.

Thanks for posting the code.

Interesting. I'm no expert. Maybe I shouldn't put info out there that may be wrong. Sorry.
