Care to explain why? I have never used the 3rd party wireless chargers...
It allows for a faster charge. If you are using it bedside at night it probably doesn't matter if it takes 2 hours or 4 hours to charge. If you plan on using it in your kitchen for a quick power boost, you probably want the 10w.

That promo code does still work. I just ordered 2 pads for $18 each. I've been using one of these for a couple months now and it works wonderfully. It's so nice to just drop your phone on the pad instead of plugging it in. I have a spigen tough armor case that it charges with.
