iPhone X will not charge at 10 W with any charger. It can accept up to 7.5 W from certain approved chargers but based on some MacRumors forum posts this isn't one of them.

Care to explain why? I have never used the 3rd party wireless chargers...

But is there any capable attachment or case or similar which can be used with an iPhone 6/S/+?

I bought one of these years ago for my Note 5. It didn't work at all, neither fast nor slow charge. After some research, I found you have to change some settings for it to work. Perhaps it works without modifications with the Note 8, IDK.

wireless receiver for as cheap as $1.4x [ebay.com]... they charge slow and take the lightning port.

maybe some of the cases charge faster??
