Excellent value...I had one of these. Screen is decent but not very bright or color accurate though if that matters to you. One screw access to internals and has a free 2.5" drive bay for another drive. Solid build qulity, minimal flex on keyboard deck, minor flex on the lid. Runs very cool.

Can anyone tell me this models year? I was looking for a laptop to both work and play a few games on. I won't use it heavily for games, but would it be able to handle something like Garys mod easily? I saw a higher model on their site going for 999.99, and it handled Games like gta5 and dishonored 2 with ease ( from what comments said). I was interested to know if this would hold up well?

2017.......the 7577 I believe is the 2018 model and has gray case accents instead of the red.

Is this pretty heavy? How about battery life? I won't be gaming, but do want something that can handle Photoshop and web development tasks. Other machine I'm looking at is similar spec xps, minus graphics card of course.
