Does anyone still have grandfather Prime where you could share your acc't with 4 people?

I had a grandfathered account, and had two non-household people sharing it. I have heard both recently mention that they would be dropping Prime due to the cost. So, I thought that my account must of dropped them, and they did their own subscription. I just looked and they are still both listed under my Prime account. I called one, and asked how come he was paying if he could still get benefits under my account. He wasn't sure, but was not going to renew and see if he still maintained his Prime via my account.
Q - Does anyone still have grandfathered users that can access their Prime benefits?
Q - Any idea why someone would opt for their own membership?
Q - If they cancel their own membership (one has a yearly; one has a monthly), will they bounce back to mine (depending on answer to the first Q).

I've had multiple years of prime because of buying the Amazon Fire phones back a few years ago, which gave you a free year of prime, so I never had to actually 'renew' yet. If I go to renew, is it going to keep me grandfathered, or will I be forced onto the new share plan with only 1 other account?
I chatted with Amazon customer service and got a few things cleared up. The one account that was kicked off and charged monthly cancelled the monthly plan. At first it didn't say that person had prime benefits at all, but evidently Prime was added back as a secondary account automatically. I asked about being grandfathered and what that means for renewal, and the response was that as long as you keep paying and don't cancel your plan, you would be able to keep it. All new accounts obviously are forced onto the new plan. I asked about being able to add a new account to the 'Invite list' and the answer was no. You can't substitute an account either. No changes can be made to the list other than removal. Lastly, I asked about changing email addresses for accounts currently linked. I was told that that should not be a problem as the account itself is linked, not the email address. Hope this helps!

Thanks. I didn't add any names. I was looking around in the acct area and wanted to see if i can still manage my family section and landed on that page which asked me to enter another household ID. I just close it and confirmed with my family members that they still have the prime shipping benefits.
