I've had this monitor (technically the 1st gen, but nothings really changed on the 144hz model) for going on 4 years now. My primary use is productivity and video but it's been great for that. I've not really gamed in any serious manner with it.

I have no complaints about it. It's not the best at anything but it does everything pretty well, especially considering the price. So much so that i just ordered a second one and a dual arm (we'll see how that goes)

I did have a small amount of burn in (which was 100% my fault tbh) that has since cleared up. It was not bad at all but it took over 6 months to fade out.

I had some issues gaming with this at first. If you have flickering issues. Use Custom Resolution Tool, change free synv bottom range higher to about 80-100. Keep high end at 144

Bought it 2 years ago for $300. Great monitor for the price. Best feature is the auto input switch. Not the greatest VA panel you will notice the backlight bleed. For this price there are better monitors out there today imo considering it was basically this price 2 years ago.

Have this.

Pros (good on almost everything.)

Cons (not so great with PS5).

But your PC gamer get this for the resolution and refresh rate.

I purchased a gigabyte ultra wide monitor about a year and a half ago. After the return period I started getting lines of stuck pixels across the bottom, I wanted to RMA, but I would have to pay for shipping which was me pricy.

I have this monitor. Been using it for about 1.5 years now. I pretty much use it for productivity though and on occasion light gaming. Also its says support for freesync but it unofficially works with Nvidia's equivalent. My only con about this is that the controls are on the back side of the monitor and the built in speakers are pretty much useless (just fyi if you plan to use the built in speakers).

I bought one of these back in January of '22($445 on sale) and returned it within the week. It had horrendous ghosting/gray smear at any brightness. At 100% brightness, it got better, but it was still pretty bad.

I actually shot a quick video of it while scrolling on Twitter in dark mode:

https://youtube.com/shorts/v-JY9Y85NJ4

This was even after I went through the settings and tuned them to make the smearing as minimal as possible. And as you see it in the video is pretty much spot-on for how it looked in person.

I don't know if I just had a faulty unit, this was only an issue with the earlier versions, or what, but I can't recommend it.

That's really not that bad. You will always have this with VA panels.

Ghosting vs IPS glow. Pick your poison. I prefer the ghosting because I like to play in a darker room

After this monitor I learned you have to look at more than the specs on paper with monitors.
Product just didn't seem well rounded out or polished like the LG monitors I went with after this one. It uses a lot of power since this is a older generation of ultra wide screens. This is a out 5 to 6 years old.
Consider a LG IPS ultra wide with decent refresh rate. They're lower than this price on LG website.

Towards the end this monitor started causing serious headaches for me. It was so debilitating. When I turned it on it gave me such migraines and after I switched it got better.
Again, this is a old product. You can get a much slimmer display for same or less money.
