Not the cheapest this has ever been, but still a very good price for those who don't have a time machine to go back to take advantage of it the previous deals.

If you want to get adventurous with your ink colors and section, then pop in the included ink squeeze converter and try out just about any modern fountain pen ink. Be sure to clean out the nib under running water until the water runs clear each time you change ink and NEVER USE INDIA INK. Some of my favorite brands are Waterman, Aurora, Pelikan, Diamine, Pilot (standard and iroshizuku), and J.Herbin. The Goulet Pen company [gouletpens.com] has a good selection and great service.
Typically fountain pens won't leak if you treat them properly and with a bit more care than your standard gel or rollerball pen. Don't throw your pen around, leave it lying horizontally for long periods, and don't shake it too violently. Try to keep the pen with the nib side standing up when not in use and clean it out with water if the ink starts to get slow.
Some fountain pens can dry up a bit if not used regularly. If there is still ink in the pen, then a drop of water on the nib will usually get the pen going again. If the cartridge or converter is completely dry, then you'll need to clean the nib under some running water before putting some more ink in. For super clogged pens, leave the section and nib unit in a cup of water overnight to loosen the dry ink up.
