If someone is buying for gaming, go with the 1080. The graphics card is by far the most important thing for gaming.

Yea. I too had a pretty bad experience with HP. I bought my mother in law a HP Envy 34" AIO 2 years ago. (This one [amazon.com]) Spent $1500 on it and 16 months later screen just completely crapped out and acts erratic. I called HP and they refused to provide any tech support as it was outside the 1 yr warranty. Told me I had to pay $150 for 1 year of additional tech support. Paid the ransom, go through HP trouble shooting, they conclude it is Windows driver issue and they can't help me. Tell me to reinstall drivers. I do a wipe and reinstall windows and drivers, screen still doesnt work. Call HP back, they tell me I did something wrong and it is a driver issue. So I take it to a local IT shop, they conclude the touch sensor in the screen failed and screen needs to be replaced. Call the $150 HP tech support and relay them the findings, they tell me the tech is wrong and it is a driver issue (from their over the phone analysis). I push to have the screen replaced, they tell me it will be $80 for shipping each way and $800 for full screen replacement. I hang up and call local IT guy. He charges me $100 and opens up the back and disconnects the touch sensor. Low and behold the screen stops acting crazy.

In the end I paid HP $150 for jack shit, had to disable the touch sensor, and now have a reduced functionality PC. The 34" Envy AIO was suppose to be on of their top tier products and not only did it have issues, their support couldn't care less. I dont trust HP products at all. So always recommend buying extended warranty now.

not bad price for 1080 card. Any AMEX offer to make it sweet? IMHO, better than alienware at BB for $1150 which has 8700 and 1070.
Best Buy Does not have that Offer any longer.

The i7 8700 about 27% faster. But if you want 1080 then this deal is way to go.
