Just used gift cards at lowe's and turned in to a big hassle. Supposedly there has been a lot of gift card fraud and cashier didn't want to take them. Took about 10 minutes to get approval. Anybody else had issues?

That's when you get the manager involved. There can be all the fraud in the world concerning lowes gift cards, but there is no reason you can't use a gift card that you purchased legitimately. The fraud problem falls on Lowes, not you.
