Have this same watch. The rotor came apart in 7 months and was fixed under warranty (took 3 weeks to come back). Then, after a year of ownership the watch loses 5 minutes of time daily. Kept it either worn on me (desk job) or in a watch winder. It is now out of warranty and collects dust in my drawer.
You are much more annoying than the guy that made the joke.
Yea that is a lie. It is not possible for this watch to loose 5 minutes a day unless the watch is broken. A base Valjoux 7750 is extremely reliable and out of the box will be in the +/- 10 seconds per day range without any regulation at all. If you sent it in and it was serviced, they would have regulated it and it would easily be in the +/- 5 seconds per day range.

I would be willing to be you do not own this watch and simply made all of that up.

Raymond Weil fit, finish, attention to detail, reliability, accuracy and overall quality is very good for the price. Personally I like the idea of support smaller independent family owned watch companies. They don't really have any heritage or contributions to horology, so their brand doesn't add any value to the watch.

For that price I'm in for 5!!
Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. "I'm in for 5!". You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. You're the first. I've never heard anyone say that in a watch deal before. Yet you've taken that and used it out of context expensive watch thread.

God what a clever, smart person you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. And so fresh too. Any, any "My phone tells time" comments you want to throw at me too as long as we're hitting these comments the height of their popularity. God you're so funny!
