You did it wrong. And applying with your SSN had nothing to do with your decline. Don't pretend to have an elaborate business that you can't back up - even if you can stretch it to seem kinda plausible.

What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
That one has an annual fee and requires $5k spending from what I can see, but the CB and bonus amount are indeed better.
When I signed up years ago, basic Ebay sellers were viewed as a business. Today YMMV but I still have the card.

One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

I applied for this card last Thursday. I was told they would have to review my information and they would let me know the status of my request. I think I remember it saying it would take like 2-3 business days, but I'm probably wrong. I still haven't received a response from them, and have a $2200 purchase I need to make in the next 12 days. Should I call them? Any ideas? 820+ credit score, 6 figure income. I filled out the request following the recent recommendations here.

not quite. points earned by ink business preferred cards [the ones that have 80k bonuses] can transfer to airline partners BUT not points earned through the ink business cash card. at least thats what the chase rep told m

That's not quite right. If you have a Chase "premium" card (Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, or Ink Preferred), you can transfer any points in your account to partners. The points can be earned with any Chase card, not just a premium card. If you don't have a premium card, you are limited to redeeming points through the Chase travel portal.

Can you have both or do you have to make a hard decision?

thats what i meant. bottom line: my no annual fee ink business cash card-earned points cannot be transferred to any airline partners as miles.

i had downgraded to it from an ink business preferred card.

Does anyone know if you have multiple small businesses, can you get the same card for each business and receive bonus for each? Are there any limitations?

I actually called them later that day and they told me I had been approved and that my cards were shipped. I got them the next day (Friday). I was expecting some sort of e-mail but nothing came. $5000 credit limit, which will be enough Smilie

Screwed up and applied for this card the way I did back in 2017 for the Business Ink Preferred and got triggered for a manual review, called in and they want proof from the county, RIP. +1 hard hit on my report

Question, can I apply for the other Business Unlimited card using the guidelines below and get approved? I haven't been flat out denied and am still in a "pending" process for my current Business Cash application.

Cheers

No, only one Chase app in past 30 days -- wait 30 days for app to drop then apply again correctly for any Ink card

I think it takes more then 30 days for the app. to purge from their system. I'd wait 90+ days and in the meantime just sign up for another non chase card. (there are plenty to choose from)
