Good deal! Personally I'd wait and get a refurb as Dell does warranty their refurbs. You should be able to get an i7 and 16gb for right around the same price.
Glad to see TB3 on these Inspirons, that's the only reason I didn't get one last time around.
This is an excellent deal only really beat out I think by the $830 i7 Lenovo Y720 deal a while back.. and that didn't even come with an SSD. I have that deal from last August and let me just say that you might want to upgrade that RAM from 8GB in order to take full advantage of the 1060 under certain circumstances.
Best example is I wasn't able to play Mirrors Edge at the lowest settings without frame stuttering and averages in the 30-40s, upgraded to 16 and I could max it out at 1080p at a solid 60 frames. Couldn't have Overwatch and Chrome open at the same time, fixed after that upgrade as well.
You don't necessarily need 16gb by any means, most games you'll be able to play just fine, but under certain cases there will be times that RAM will be a bottleneck, even if you're doing as little as browsing the internet between queuing for matches in OW.
Update: For $772 this is definitely the best 1060 laptop deal ever.

Yes it does very easy to install and about 5 minutes to set up 2nd drive
hmm... mine didnt come with a cable so I sent an email out to dell..
I'm curious if I'm going to have this issue that I see posted a lot on the forums: https://www.dell.com/community/La...-p/5183723
Well I just got the laptop Flyingboat linked and I think it all worked. Not sure about the dell rewards part though.
Not sure where he got the link from though, because when i try to navigate to the same laptop from the main page, this deal does not show up (the extra $50 off with the special offers links doesn't show up on the product page).

I just did a search on 7577 which brought all of the different configurations and this one with the $50 off. Right next to it they show the same one twice without the $50 off. Ya I don't know anything about the Dell rewards but I already got notification that I earned 10% cash back from e b.
cheaper than this deal (760+tax after ebay bucks) VR ready 8gb gtx 1070, more RAM, thunderbolt port, better processor, but no SSD
best buy through ebay. open box like new with all original accessories. full 1 year warranty.
seems like a steal for a nice gaming laptop with a 1070
figured there's not a lot of stock, so no point in making a new thread
Ya, this would have been great. Though I already used up my 15% code for the full $500 back on other items. And I see orders were getting cancelled anyway.

I got it for $650 with a student discount.
This has a dedicated 1060 6gb graphics card. Big difference in gaming. You can play all recent games with this.
