Speedpass+™ Promotion Terms
For the Speedpass+ Fuel Discount Promotion (the "Promotion"), participants may receive ten (10) cents off per gallon (the "Discount") on every fill when they use eligible methods of payment with the Speedpass+ app at participating Exxon and Mobil stations. The Discount will be applied at the pump at the time of purchase. The Promotion will begin at 1:00 AM EST on March 29th, 2018, and end at 11:59 PM EST on July 10th, 2018 or when availability runs out (the "Promotion Period"). To be eligible for the Promotion, participants must create a Speedpass+ account with a valid method of payment added or have an active Speedpass+ account available for fuel purchases. All fuel grades, including Diesel, are eligible. In order to qualify, a fuel purchase must be made with the Speedpass+ app during the Promotion Period at a participating Exxon and Mobil station (collectively a "Qualifying Purchase"). A Qualifying Purchase may be made alone or in conjunction with any other purchase, including a combination of fuel and car wash; however, the Promotion is limited to fuel purchases.
Exxon and Mobil and Speedpass+ are trademarks of Exxon Mobil Corporation.
ExxonMobil reserves the right to modify, amend or discontinue the Promotion terms at any time without notice, including but not limited to during the applicable Promotion Period. Void or subject to restrictions based upon applicable law. All Speedpass+ app Terms & Conditions apply.
Just FYI. Many Exxon Mobile stations charge extra for using credit card over cash. If I use SpeedPass physical tag, which is linked to my credit card, I pay the rate for cash. Last time I used their app, I paid credit card rate.
I've never run into any Exxon's that charge less for cash. In any case is the percentage that do, any different than other major name brand gas in any other random area?
I stick to the large gas stations.....but wouldn't be surprised some Mom and Pop stations are more likely to charge less for cash....as opposed to the huge ones with tons of pumps and run an efficient business. Personally if saw a lower cash price for gas I'd just bypass the place.

Can physical tags still be ordered? Exxon's FAQ seems to imply they've been discontinued.

Every major gas station here has 2 prices for credit and cash.
I don't know where "here" is but none around me do and I live in a moderately populated area. Admittedly I don't travel all over the country, but I haven't paid cash for gas for years. Too big a hassle to stand in line inside big stations with people buying slurpees, hot dogs, or cases of beer. Seems like a pretty ancient business model labor wise.
I just left Walmart and Home Depot and glad they don't have 2 different prices for their merchandise...yes I know that the profit margin for gas is slimmer than many things, but still labor costs money...

same here. Stations around here have two signs for cash and credit, but it's always the same value. Never seen them actually different.

No, I don't believe you can use GC as a payment card in SpeedPass+ app
