I got this for $285 off ebay a month ago, and I have been very happy with it.
If you are running a tomato (or other ad block supporting) router, you can add these domains to the router ad blocker:

It will stop the youtube and roku ads as well as the roku logging/tracking. Smilie
This may work with a pi-hole too.

Also Roku tends to have google DNS servers hard coded in, so if you are using VPN it could cause a DNS leak.
If you want to block those IPs you can add:
iptables -I INPUT -s 8.8.8.8 -j DROP
iptables -I FORWARD -s 8.8.8.8 -j DROP
iptables -I INPUT -s 8.8.4.4 -j DROP
iptables -I FORWARD -s 8.8.4.4 -j DROP
to your firewall script.
Obliviously optional depending on your setup.

Did a live chat with their customer support team. urlhasbeenblocked isn't an authorized reseller.
