if you're okay with 3 stops but then again, flights with 2 stops are about eleven hundred dollars....
Avianca Airlines have round trip airfares travelling from Washington DC (IAD) to Iguazu Falls Brazil (IGU) for $564, making 3 and then 2 stops returning. This is a long flight but worth it. The airport is near the Argentina border and you can visit two countries in one. With that said, google reviews about the long flight on this airline so you don't come back and kill me.
Travel Availability:
Departs IAD: Aug 19-31; Sept 1, 3-24; Oct 1-6, 14-30; Nov 2-7, 15-18, 20-23, 28-30;
Returns: good availability returns, generally 7 or 14 day stay okay
