Can you lay them down in the smaller drawers? I have a number of Milwaukee M18 drills, impacts, saws, extra batteries and chargers that could use a good home. The blow moulded case the fuel drills come in is nice but it's a tremendous waste of space when not on the go.
Yes. I got one of these 3 or so years ago. I have my M18 drill, sawzall, impact wrench and hackzall all laying down in the top drawer without any issues.

Tempting, I'm not a fan of T-Frame tool cabinets. I'd rather the drawers be full width instead of split. My pry bars definitely wouldn't fit, but I guess I could always hang those on the side. They're open to theft that way without an expensive lock box, though.

24.5" depth is definitely nice for $250, even if it is a chintzy 21 ga box. In the end Cu is more important to me than heft. But there's also the hassle of selling my existing cabinet, and waiting for a good deal on a 22-24" top chest. Tough decision.

Anyone know if Home Depot does 10% military discount on "special buy" items like this? That would probably be enough incentive for me to jump in.

I just received an email from Harbor Freight about their new U.S. General cabinets, series 2. Many people love the first ones, so I have no doubt it will be the same for these.
I received the Adin the mail it was the same price $248 with a super coupon not sure how comparable quality is but I will definitely check it out. Just redid my garage with those awesome muscle racks need these now!! Thanks for reminder

Anyone know if Home Depot takes expired 10% coupons? I have an old movers coupon I forgot about.

I'd wait, but the series 1 version of this @ HFD looks disappointing in the photo compared to this. I meant to check it out this weekend but got busy focusing at other tools @ HFD. The occasional 25% off coupon @ HFD is an attractive incentive to wait, however.

Just go up to a cashier, all they can do is say no. have it in your cart and everything and walk away if they say no.

Bought one of these last week at 349... Needed to get two more, so this is awesome timing - and I can get $100 back on the first one. It's a pretty nice tool chest, for the price. The latching mechanism on the drawers is smooth and build quality overall is good.

Do you know if the one without the power strip is on sale also? I just bought that yesterday for $298.
I had been watching that one for months, waiting for a price drop. It looks like it's not on sale this go around, it has dropped to $199 in the past. So I'm gonna jump on this one.

Dang. Got the entry level craftsman one last year for $200... this looks much more substantial plus the power hookup is a bonus. Running out of room in garage...

Was $199 on Black Friday. (sorry, apparently it was the non-deep version)
I originally thought the same thing, then went out to my garage to measure the depth. $199 was 18" and change whereas the dimensions on this are supposed to be 24" and change. My only gripe with the 18" ones (looks like same dimensions other than depth) is that my sockets don't fit in the smaller drawers when on socket strips; only the bottom drawers are tall enough with the strips.

Decent looking tool box / work bench, might have to swing by HD on my way home to take a look at it in person. Anyone know how long the sale is for? Any deals on HD gift cards to sweeten this deal even more?
