I thought the same thing. Compared it to everything I could find, and the only downside is 128 ssd. Not much out there with 17" and these specs for close to this price right now. Best I could find is around 1300. My guess is some removing of stock with new models coming out next week.
Still deciding about grabbing this great deal, or going all out on an i7 8 gen 1070 ASUS next week. TU either way.
For me, I've never really had a problem with TN displays, so this didn't hold me back from snagging one of these from Costco. I need 120fps+ for Overwatch, so having a 120hz screen is huge since it gives me the option of playing without an external monitor when needed.

And the few times I have had a problem Call the service hotline. They don't play around. I've got a new laptop just because it took to long to find parts to cover my warranty. Look at these deals as a whole its not only about the bottom line number
$100 cheaper for about same specs but smaller screen (I prefer 15").
