I would prefer the vests myself, but for 50 bucks, this is great for small children and it is easy to get started. If you find that you use them a lot, then I would invest more into the vest type.

I have this set. Bought when it briefly went on sale around Christmas. They work well and are a ton of fun, especially if you have kids. For $50 this is a steal.

I bought it this past Christmas. The blue gun failed after a week. No fix, but I got a replacement for free. No issues after that. My kids love it.

These are a lot easier for the kids to use then laser x (vest), we've had them both.

I had a gun have some issues and they shipped a new two pack in just a couple of days. Great customer service.

They were on "sale" at Christmas for $104.99 a set. I bought two and for that they were not good. However, at this price, I am considering two more sets :-)

The Christmas ones were returned ...
