Amazon has Rotella T6 for a new price of $13.97 ($22.47 - $7.00 rebate - $1.50 coupon). This is a great oil and the lowest I have seen this product in at least a year.

Never mind, I see the T5 10w30 which is what I use for my 6.7 powerstroke. Only $5 rebate but still great deal. I need 13 qts - In for 4.

What's in this oil that it says specifically for diesel? At this point the only 5w-40 I can find for my turbo vw is the ridiculously priced liqui moly.

CJ5 rated for wet clutch applications and higher levels of ZDDP.

Heck of a deal for a good oil. My dad and I use this in tractors, OPE, ATVs, motorcycles, etc. One of the most versatile oils.

Their are additives that could foul the catalytic converter, which is expensive to replace. If you have a new car that does leak or burn any oil, then perhaps you are okay, but I wouldn't use this on older cars for this reason. Also, the oil doesn't have moly, which is a friction modifier that reduces wear and increases fuel economy.

This is a good oil for diesel and motorcycles. It likely won't ruin your gas engine with one use, but since their are alternatives, why risk it.

Since the rebate is 4 per year, I'm debating to wait longer for a better price. The rebate amount went up a couple of dollars for T6 gallons, so that's nice. Almost as good of base price as the $10 coupon off 3 last year.
