The physical Bluray 8-film collection was $14.96 at Amazon on December 2nd 2013 - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1

Can do a disc-to-digital to convert each movie to UHD for $2each ($16 total)

$30.96 should be my total out of pocket. I should probably actually try the conversions. Has anyone done the disc-to-digital on the box set?

I've only ever done disc to digital on single movies, but I thought that disc to digital only went up to HD quality.

I did a bunch of movies yesterday and it gave me $2 HDX I think. That's not the same as UHD I guess? I don't have any 4K TVs so I hadn't paid attention to the new acronyms. Which is better?


Looked it up. UHD is king and not an option for the upgrade disc program

I'm glad I was able to get the 4K / blu ray bundle last Thanksgiving time for around $89 after tax from Barnes and Noble online. Sold the blu ray set for $35 and kept the 4K discs and UHD digital codes.

yup, that's a really good deal! now the 4k disc set is usually over 100.
