From Frequent Miler:
A few things to be aware of with this offer:

1) Member-Only Pricing

This partnership will apparently give you a 10% discount on your Sprint service. That sounds good, but it'll remove any other potential discounts (such as employer discounts) which might offer higher savings. Depending on the size of that discount and your monthly bill, registering for this AAA promo might cost you money.

2) For New Customers Only (Or Not)

One of the listed terms is that you have to register within 30 days of becoming a Sprint customer. Needless to say, that makes it sound like this promotion is only for new Sprint customers. However, this SlickDeals thread below suggests that it's open to existing customers too.
https://slickdeals.net/f/10034168-free-aaa-basic-membership-renewal-for-sprint-customers?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Frequent%20Miler%20%28Instant%29
Refer to this thread and it's wiki for more details.

3) Renewals Only

The offer is only for AAA membership renewals, so you'll have to pay the first year's fees if you're not already a AAA member.

Says that registering for the free AAA renewals will get you the AAA discount on your bill REPLACING any current "Sprint Works" discounts.

So, if you have a corporate discount, signing up for this will remove it and add AAA discount, which may be less than your corporate discount.

Am I understanding this correctly? Would this work with my old-ass SERO plan, or mess it up?

Would this work on the Free Unlimited Everything plan many of us have that we aren't paying for in the first place? That would be amazing. Weird that it is only for renewals and not new customers.

I also would like to know... I have a SERO family plan from ~2006. I was able to get Hulu for free recently, which was nice. Do you have the Unlimited everything but minutes plan as well?

Yeah, I can't remember when I signed up, but I get unlimited everything except only 500 minutes talk ... Of which I use 3-5 a month.

Same, except 1500 for 5 lines here. I just found out that it comes with unlimited LTE data and SMS in Mexico and Canada as well as the United States. You just have to do an international live chat and ask them to enable the "Premium International Experience".

I also would like to know if it works with the free plan.

Also, what's to stop someone from signing up for sprint, having them pay for your AAA renewal if it's coming up soon, and then canceling right away? Even if they charge you for one month of pro-rated sprint service you still come out ahead.

Same, I tried days after signing up. Will try again, but I highly doubt it'll work for the free plan.

I might switch to this. I'm on the current unlimited plan with HD streaming and Tidal so my Sprint Works discount is just $5 a month. If this matches that then the AAA saves me money.
