With that said though, there are a lot of max q laptops coming out with the 1060 which has nearly the same performance for cheaper. The 8th gen h series processors are 6 cores so there's that. Last but not least, I haven't had the best service from EVGA in the past. I ordered a few 1080s from them and one of them came really beat up and they would not allow me to return it. On a different occasion I ordered a part that was supposed to fit and had email documentation where they confirmed it would work, but they made me pay for the return shipping. If something goes wrong with this, you could be left paying the shipping fees which could be pretty high ($40 or so).
For what you get, I'd still call this a good deal but not impulse buy worthy.
There are only 2 things that I do not like:
1. Weight
2. Trackpad.
