I like camera D3400 that I already have. Perfect for newbee's. Its available for $396.95 near me in NC. Looked out for specific SKU but landed on same.
Searching for the SKU on a Walmart's store page, it says $249. But when I choose store same day store pickup (says 1 remaining left in the store) its displaying $397 on the product's page.
I thought Walmart's in-store pickup price changed based off the price it was in that store - am I missing something?
EDIT: Nvm, its probably just OOS at the one where its $249 and defaulting me to a different, nearby store for pickup.
It is with limited understanding that I think when brick seek shows a stock of "0", but its "limited stock", that there is a tiny better chance that they may have one or two, than if its a stock of "0" and "out of stock".
I may swing by later today and see if I get lucky. I learned previously during a discussion with an employee that an outside team resets their displays, so they can't actually sell the display models.
Curious question: It shows as $349 at my local store with "limited stock...0", but about 80 miles away it shows at $249 at a store with "out of stock, 0". I may attempt to price match to the store down the road... and the odds are against me...but has anyone attempted this before? I'm looking for advice/methods as they are not fans of brick seek. Maybe if I can track down stock info and I could convince them to call the store down the road...
Still 2 for $249 in Sanger Ca. To bad I don't live near there anymore tho. Makes sense there's nothing out there LOL. OOS everywhere on Cali coast where I live now tho.
How good of a deal is this? There are a few available a short drive away from me. Thanks and reps for any help.
These are typically ~$395 for the camera body and the 18-55MM kit lens. As an example, Costo has this camera, the standard kit lens + a 70-300MM lens for $499.
Good starter camera if you've outgrown a point and shoot or need an update from a phone camera for special moments. It is a well regarded entry-level camera. At $250 it is a deal. Only used cameras usually at this price point.

It ~$150 off what they are going for on Ebay. I was thinking about biting as there are 2 near me but I'm probably not going to. My wife's into Canon's and I'm not that big into photography. Probably a great deal if you're in the market for one of these though, but I don't think it's worth the hassle to flip.
