I'm in the market for a projector. I think I want an Optoma, but I'm having trouble really nailing down which one. I thought I had it narrowed down to the HD27e, the HD29Darbee and the HD39Darbee, but it is really hard to figure out how different these products are and which one is best for me (for the price).

I'll have some ambient light and will be sitting close to the projector, so noise is a big issue. Any advice? Should I just go with this one for the great price and see how it goes?

Personally I would go with the gt1080Darbee ...they are great short throw projectors where you dont have to worry about ambient light

the gt1080 has fewer lumens and a very small throw ratio and it's aimed at gamers, right?

i don't game (much) and am much more worried about watching movies/TV. i don't think that's the one for me, unless you think i'm missing something.
