Hi everyone!
Just found an email from my spam folder from PetSmart...The subject is "Welcome to our PetPerks reward program!" but I signed up last year. I have no idea why they just sent me this, but it expires May-28 so enjoy!
I have used it on both me and my girlfriend's accounts, and both worked.
I also used it at my local PetCo, they did take it, but the next day when my girlfriend tried to use it they said they no longer take it, and said it was a decision by cooperate?
Notes:
You will need the PetPerks membership to use this, it may or may not work for you, so it's YMMV.
Limited to one-time use per PetPerks account.
Offer valid in-store at participating PetSmart locations through 05/28/2018.
Excludes gift cards, charitable donations, and Banfield services.

PetSmart has $10 off any in-store purchase of $10 or more when you present this coupon at checkout. A PetPerks membership is required. Limit one per PetPerks account. Offer valid in-store through 05/31/2018 at participating PetSmart locations.
Notes:
Sign up for PetPerks for free here [petperks.com]. At checkout, the cashier will ask you for the phone number associated with your PetPerks account, so have that handy. After registering for PetPerks online, your phone number should be in their system within 24 hours.
Limited to one-time use per PetPerks account. If you have used a $10 off $10+ coupon in 2018, this one may not work on the same PetPerks account.
Stores generally accept both printed and digital coupons (i.e., you should be able to show the cashier the coupon on your smartphone).

Here's the deal with this. This is a coupon they send you when you sign up for their e-mail list. ANYONE who signs up for their e-mail list will get a coupon dated 2 weeks later (I think) with the SAME UPC code number. You have to sign up for an account and activate it with a phone number (which they don't check - hint, hint) to make it work. So, if you've ever used it before, their system will mark it as used for your account, and not let you use it again, no matter what the expiration date says. I even had two new accounts which said that the coupon was already used. You might get lucky and find a cashier and/or manager who will allow it. But don't count on it. Most of the managers are aware of this and are aware that some people are scamming the system with multiple accounts. But you might get lucky.
Also, some other chains, particularly Petco may accept it too, so you might want to make copies. If you don't use your Petco account (tell them you don't have one), they won't know if you use it in a different Petco store, too.

It's a universal coupon and the barcode are all the same, except that it's sent to specific petperks members. Technically it's targeted, but ppl have used it before without receiving the email, so it's highly YMMV. Some managers will even do a override on the transaction if the coupon doesn't work.
