If you put in all your specs and calculate you can even see with a basic build you can easily save $5 a year by going gold vs bronze if you run 24/7 and only pay 11cents a kw. Inflation will raise electricity prices and other factors can come up. Say you only saved $2 a year, it still pays for the difference between a bronze and gold over 10 years. Yeah its a long time but unless you basically don't expect to be alive in 10 years its worth it imo.

I say yes but you need to make the determination yourself. Power supplies can last many builds so think like 10+ years.
