You're not technically wrong, but I think you're overstating the performance increase. While a 1080 screen would nearly double the number of pixels, it doesn't anywhere near double the power to push them out.

I understand that it's a budget laptop. I'm not trying to start a huge debate about it. If someone wants to stare at that huge, awful screen, that's their business.

Not bad for $200, especially since the RAM can be increased to 16gb. But still, I'm sure this is fine as-is for basic stuff like watching Netflix, Prime video, & checking email, etc.

I read the description on bestbuy.com, but I didn't see anything mentioning if the battery is user-swappable. If anyone knows if the battery can be easily removed, please report back. Thanks.

I have no idea, but somewhere in the less than 3 hours range is pretty standard for laptops this cheap. I wouldn't expect much.

I have just got that 11.6" Dell from older deal with A6-9220e CPU, it was slow as a turtle for a day. Once it was done with all the updates it was actually manageable. Perfectly fine for browsing, videos, simple MS Office tasks. Mine has 32GB eMMC drive, very limiting, in this deal here at least you can add a cheap $45 240GB SSD.

Resolution kills it. I truly don't know what purpose there is in producing these crappy 1366x768. 1080p truly cannot be that much more expensive and even low-end integrated graphics and power it without trouble.

Meh it's a budget laptop. Also the lower resolution should improve overall performance as it has less pixels to push out. With how weak these CPUs are it goes a long way.

Indeed. For most people this resolution is fine. Checking outlook, reading wikipedia, and pretty much everything most people do will be fine. If you're playing serious games or editing video then obviously you need better...

Especially since pixels are pushed by the GPU and included R4 is more than enough for 1080p output (not gaming for sure but video and stuff). 1366x768 is great for 12" or smaller screens. On 15" and higher you can see all these pesky pixels and picture is not that sharp at all, especially since you sit close to a laptop and can see all that.
