Starting today, Friday 06/08/2018, and available for a limited time, Sprint is offering the Unlimited Kickstart Plan for $15 each line, whether you need 1 line or 4 lines, when you switch to Sprint.

Allan Samson, Sprint's Senior Vice President of Acquisition Marketing, says consumers who take advantage of the deal will be able to keep the low monthly rates for the foreseeable future.
"Once you're on the promotion there is no step up," Samson says. "You get in during this limited time window, you are going to enjoy that rate for a very, very long time."

"Sprint is only offering the $15 deal online or by phone, so it's not something you'll be able to get by walking into your local store. You'll also be paying additional monthly fees and taxes and customers must set up and pay via autopay if they want that $15 price"

Now's the PERFECT time to switch to Sprint and experience our great network. I'm thrilled to announce that starting June 8, for a limited time, Sprint will offer Unlimited for $15 per month per line. Whether you need one line or four lines, they're just $15 each. No catch, no surprises.
At Sprint, we've worked incredibly hard and made tremendous progress to offer customers a great network today. In fact, Sprint's national average download speed increased 34.5 percent year-over-year, more than any other national carrier!1 Plus, we've increased our investment to make our coverage, reliability and speed even better as Sprint prepares to launch the first mobile 5G network in the U.S. in the first half of 2019.
So, give us a try - this offer won't last long!
Switching to Sprint has never been easier than with Unlimited Kickstart:
Bring your smartphone or buy a new one from Sprint.
Bring your number from another wireless carrier.
There's no annual contract.
Get Unlimited Data, Talk and Text with streaming video in DVD quality for $15 per month per line with AutoPay. That's only $60 a month for a family of four. That's only $60 a month for a family of four.
Unlimited Kickstart is an online exclusive offer – responding to consumers' desire to purchase in a fast, simple and convenient manner. We've made it easy for new customers to switch to Sprint - starting on June 8.

USAToday Article (thanks jbarm): https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/mo...ar-AAylOuf

Check to see if your device is compatible:
https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/br...hop:030918

summary of this $15 plan:
Port in from non sprint (or its mvno) carrier required
no hotspot
no discounted phone (must BYOP or buy a phone at full price from sprint)
no "planned" expiration date for $15 rate
the "extra fees" will vary , but typically around ~$3.50 per line
Video streams up to 480p,
music up to 500 Kbps,
gaming streams up to 2 Mbps.
Data deprioritization during congestion
no free hulu promotion
sprint will not pay off devices from other carriers
credit check required (hard/soft pull)

offer for new customers who port in a number
current sprint customers are not eligible, unless u port out of sprint and then back into (using a new social security number)
*this is not true, If you are willing to buy a $145 phone and you are already a sprint customer without the ability to use someone else's SSN,
then simply login to your portal and add a line and buy a phone at full price and choose the $15 plan. simple as that.
I was able to add 2 lines yesterday buying a $145 phone.

best cheapest quickest way to get a number for porting is Google Voice.

Google Voice Instructions

I believe others are having luck by following these instructions:
  1. Go to https://www.google.com/voice/b/0/unlock and unlock your Google Voice number, which will cost $3 and is payable online by card
  2. Set a voicemail pin here https://www.google.com/voice/b/0#...ilsettings - you will need this pin in order to finish the porting
Good luck, I haven't personally verified this but others in the thread seem to be having luck

If you've never set your pin or if you want to try to change it, this worked for me.
  1. Change your PIN
  2. On your computer, open Google Voice.
  3. At the top left, open Menu Menu and then Legacy Google Voice. Google Voice will look different, but you're in the right place.
  4. At the top right, click Settings Settings and then Settings.
  5. Click the "Voicemail & Text" tab.
  6. Next to "Voicemail PIN," enter and confirm your new PIN.
  7. At the bottom, click Save changes.

PORT STATUS AND COMPLETION INFO:
Google Voice seemed stuck in porting limbo for over a day. Found this link which gave status and aid to call in. 5min later its ported and activated ~outofstock

porting out of sprint and into tmobile and back to sprint ...see this post (click me) ....and a few follow up comments ....

Account #1+sprint number you ported in
(or assigned new Tmobile number if not porting in).
Pin setup during call with tmobile to activate card.

Yes, as soon as the imei number on the sprint site showed it was eligible, I called Sprint to add the line to the new account. As edog11 said, you add a 1 to your phone number as the t-mobile account number. The thought or porting and reporting is overwhelming, but it's worth it in my opinion. I moved 5 lines.

The digital delivery method eased my concern.

It's only "digital" because you get the ICCID (sim id) via message (from ebay seller). You don't need to physically put the sim in your phone to port your number.

side note: free plan from sprint is still available...click me... << also a good way to check what the extra taxes and fees would look like for your zip code.

folks, read the wiki of the above thread.
lots of good information there as well

Compatible phone list
  • Moto E4 from Target (around $100)

sorry, but I am confused.
there is one year free plan in sprint with hotspot.
why are you thinking this promotion?
yes free plan is only 1 year but I am pretty sure we will have better promotion next year for sure.
Anyone tells me why this promotion is getting TU?????

Here is the benefit of this plan over the FREE plan. You can stay in it on Sprint Network as long as you want, according to a service rep.

all this means is that currently, there is no plan to change the plan.
they can change thier mind at any time

Also, this plan can be activated on all eligible Sprint capable phones. The free plan has strictly restricted choice of handsets.

Just talked to an online service rep, and apparently, this plan will grandfather you in, and it won't change once you are in. Here is the chat:

REP: Before we go, were there any additional questions?
You: Well, why is the $15 plan better than the FREE plan?
You: And how long is the $15 promotion going for, if I get it. Will I be grandfathered in?
REP: You can definitely go for the 1 year FREE plan but that is for 1 year only and with $15 plan you can keep the plan as long as you want but your phone must be owned by you on this plan.
You: So the $15 plan will never end, and I can even get new phones while I am on the plan, as long as I buy them outright and put a sim in them, or do I have to keep the same phone to keep the $15 plan?
You: It won't end if I am grandfathered in that is.
REP: Yes, you can purchase new phones on the same plan as long as you purchase them out right.
REP: Yes, it won't end, you can be grandfathered in it.
You: Okay. Thank you!

What about the people already on Sprint plans
Per USAToday article:

1. Doesn't include hotspot access.
2. No Hulu (didn't get this free anyhow)
3. Undefined time when this price is valid before they raise the price.
4. Required port in from another carrier.

Web site for promo isn't active yet.
Free is one year but I don't see a length for $15mo

Seems pretty good (pricing, not their service quality), since it's a no contract BYOD plan.

We sure this is a no-contract plan (meaning no credit check?) Doesn't seem like it from what I've read.

Also, seems like porting in is a requirement (so no new lines?)
