PSA: Newegg rebate processing company just went under

Just got off the phone with Newegg customer service. It appears the company that processes newegg rebates went out of business and didn't notify newegg until yesterday. I would personally avoid all rebates that are Newegg rebates (newegg.4myrebate.com or anything processed by 4myrebate.com) until further notice. Not sure how they will handle rebates that were already in the pipeline where we haven't received payment yet.

Call 1-800-286-9146 and press 0. 4myrebate is not out of business.
It is likely newegg decided to end their contract with 4myrebate instead.
From my own records, it looks like newegg went over to 4myrebate at the start of 2017 and the fact that rebates were killed as of 5/31 seem to imply more of a contract termination, rather than an out of business.

Is there a way to check our outstanding rebate tracking numbers now? Anyone get a heads up from Newegg about this or they just left us hanging and wondering. They couldn't care less about their faithful long time customers? Good job Newegg!!!!
AFAIK, this problem was first reported by Jcomey2020 on 6/6/18:
excerpts:
"I am wondering if they are either switching rebate processors again or experimenting with no sponsored rebates (a la Staples)."
...
"They pulled every rebate in the registration system after 05/31/18."
Ok, wtf Newegg. I have $38 USD in outstanding rebates and now no one can track their rebates to even know wtf is going on.
I don't think 4MyRebate went out of business considering I can still check my old Asus rebate that was processed by 4MyRebate. It looks like Newegg ended their contract with 4MyRebate. However, Newegg handled this sloppy as hell. When ending these things there should have been a cooling off period to wind down all services not an abrupt end where you have rebates pulled and old approved rebates disappear. This is some sloppy handling on Newegg's part.
What does this mean? "They pulled every rebate after 5-31"?
What if you submitted a rebate after 5-31? I wonder if they would still honor if in their system. I guess none of us know so we'll have to wait and see.

It means they pulled TigerDirect move (i.e. disabled rebate registrations so no one can register for those rebates). It used to be that if you register for the rebate before the store disables the rebate registration, then you would still be eligible for the rebate because you are in the rebate system for the registered rebate. However, currently, Newegg has seemingly and abruptly ended their contract with 4MyRebate. This leads to ALL rebates old and new disappearing from 4MyRebate's system. You can't even track the old rebates that have been approved in the past. A lot of us still have outstanding rebates that are waiting for payment to be sent out and now no one can even look them up.

This is very scary as I have 227.00 currently in outstanding rebates including 2 submitted just yesterday.

Join the club brother. A lot of people on Slickdeals, including myself, are about to get screwed unless Newegg quickly resolve this matter. I have kept a detailed record of all rebate submission and if Newegg doesn't honor my outstanding rebates, then I will not hesitate to contact my credit card company to see if I can do a charge back.

This means that they disallowed registration for any rebate starting after 5/31.
As of yesterday or so, they took down the newegg.4myrebate.com domain name.
Give Newegg a chance to correct this problem. I cannot see them screwing customers over, knowing that they will lose quite a few customers and receive such bad press. Compare this to the Office Depot mess with the rebates last month. They corrected the problem and actually had my rebate in 31 days.
Just now did a chat with Newegg and got this response. It sounds promising and they even said those submitted yesterday will be honored also.
Thanks for your information Just123me. I am sorry for the confusion. We have received an update states our rebate processing company for Newegg In-House Rebates went out of business today. Unfortunately they did not provide us any notice so we have been working hard to make this as easy as possible for our customers.
Don't worry! Your rebate will be processed directly by Newegg. You will receive an email from Newegg in the next few days telling you this information. There is nothing you need to do to get a rebate check. It will be sent to you within 4-6 weeks. Thank you for your understanding.
I then asked about my rebates submitted just yesterday and this was there response:
Yes, you will be paid. You do not need to worry about this. We will take care of this issue for you.
