Worth it to upgrade from veraedge to veraplus? I want the added zigbee support. I've seen articles about just using a wink hub with it, but the plug-in doesn't exist anymore.

If the edge is working for you, don't upgrade. It is faster and has more memory but you really wont notice a big difference unless you know already (specifically) why you need to upgrade. I haven't used the zigbee part so I have no idea on that.

ZigBee support on vera is pretty thin. I would hit the vera forums and read the thread on supported ZigBee devices.

I have two old VeraLites, and they're both long in the tooth. I can't see throwing more money at Vera, though, I don't see how they last for a whole lot longer. Their support is terrible, their platform is virtually undocumented and they've got much bigger players in the space who have the cash to throw around.

I was a big fan of the system at one point, but buying a controller now seems like a huge waste of money.
