This one is pretty much using latest standards, 8th Gen Processor, DDR4 Ram, Type-C Port (GEN 2 10 Gbps), quick Charge feature etc,
And one thing, although 8th Generation Core i3 U series processors are dual core unlike Quad Core i5 and i7, they have higher cache memory than even 7th Gen Core i5 and they support Turbo Boost as well. This Core i3-8130U actually performs better than a 7th Gen Core i7-7500U.
And the HDD is not only replaceable, but also comes with a spare PCIe NVMe M.2 Slot which is amazing at this price point. One thing to note here, it does not support SATA III M.2 SSD, only PCIe NVMe.

" I was not pleased with it in a few ways that made me return it. For at-home, light-load computing, this thing is alright. Just beware of having Windows 10, a fairly bloated OS, on a 5400 RPM HDD. -The construction of it was not level, and as I typed, the whole computer wobbled and clicked upon the surface of the table. It was RMAed for that reason. -The laptop's cooling fan was too noisy for the classroom environment that I needed to use it in. I'm not just being picky here... -The hard drive is bottle-necking the entire computer, but in all fairness, I should have realized before purchasing. It takes years to do most tasks. Just Google it. A cheap SSD would make this laptop miles better."

Typically, B&H provides 30 days return policy for most of their laptops. Just don't throw their boxes if you think you might consider returning within allowed timeframe
