I see comment after comment about people saying wait don't buy now.....something newer and better is coming out any day now.....they say GPU prices will be dropping since cryptocurrency value is taking a dump. To that I say BS. You can spend your whole life waiting for something better or to save a couple bucks and don't even get to enjoy what you bought. If you need it and it will serve your needs buy it unless it is ridiculously overpriced. Tech people are the biggest speculators, always worried about buying the latest and greatest as if they can somehow future proof their purchase. Just keep in mind no matter what you buy there will ALWAYS be something better and faster on the horizon. It's a fools errand trying to keep pace with technology. Just my 2 cents.
I would recommend withhold buying any GPU at the moment. Rumor has it NVDA had to accept 300k gpu return from one if its top 3 OEMs. This is a strong indication of market glut and the reason why next gen isnt coming out as scheduled. So unless there is going to be a run up of crypto price, you can be sure price is coming down fast!
Ehh in this case it is an exaggeration. If new tech is coming in a few months that costs the same and say has a 30% boost in performance it is not a bad thing to wait. When new stuff comes out the prior usually goes down too. Personally I would feel like garbage if I bought something and nobody told me the better one was coming shortly. Now if the new thing is a year or so away I totally agree with your point.

I second this. While it is likely next gen is being released by end of July, it's hard to say what the price will be if you are looking for value vs performance.
