I ran across this eBay listing for a Sprint LG V20 (LS997) while I was looking for a decent but low cost phone to use for the recent Sprint port-in deals. I haven't had the greatest luck with used "Great Condition" phones on eBay in the past, so this time around I decided to pick a couple of these "Fair Condition" phones up and I hoped for the best at this price. Seller also seems to offer a very reasonable 30 day return policy.
Both of the phones I received turned out better than I expected. A much better experience than with other sellers that seem to exaggerate "Great Condition" and then deliver far less.
The phones I received were both upgraded to what has been deemed thus far "un-rootable" software revisions, however. Despite the many complexities in dealing with Sprint customer service, hopefully I might be able to successfully GSM unlock the phones after the 50 days. As per LG's website, this model is supposed to support LTE bands 2/3/4/5/7/12/25/26/41
Regarding LG's bootloop issues, I have not personally experienced one incidence a bootloop on any of my previous LG G5 phones and I hope this will be the case with these models. One LG G5, in particular, I used on a long summer trip overseas, where I was filming video for long periods of time in the sun, so I was pretty impressed.
I have experienced the "ghosting/burn-in" on my G5, but only when I had the brightness set to max. But this cleared up on my G5.
Might be worth a look especially if you want to take advantage of any Sprint promos.
