Also, and MOST importantly, there are 2 models of this grill in the marketplace. The old model has the grease cup on the RIGHT side; The cup does not align well with the hole in the cooktop, causing you to buy an aftermarket adapter to make it work correctly. The redesigned model has the grease cup on the REAR of the cooktop. This is the redesigned model, and the one you want to buy.

This would work well for cooking tacos. Pretty similar to what people who cater use to cook tacos.
Don't think it's treated you have to use oil and season it. It's iron pretty sure.

I bought this 2 or 3 months ago. Use it at least twice a week, esp out here in coastal Cali with such great weather.
