Best Buy has the i5/8/256 model of the Google Pixelbook on clearance, but
pricing is only available if ordered in-store. Shipping is free or you can opt for in-store pickup.
Note: the current Student Coupon for 10% off should *not* apply here due to the clearance pricing exception. Fellow SDer claims they were still able to apply, so YMMV.
This is an all-time low on price and beats the FP deal from a few weeks back. No coupon needed here, as well.
** Post updated to reflect price change from $779 to $719. Best Buy will refund price difference in-store if purchased previously. **

Yes, it's the highest end version of it.
I'm personally purchasing it for its design and portability above all else - it should do everything I need it for (Office, email, some videos). I have a dedicated Windows gaming rig with a 1070Ti for everything else.
I have the 8gb and with 15 tabs it seems to work fine with no lag, but my problem is the tabs stack on each other and becomes hard to differentiate. Unless you make the resolution really high. Which does make text extremely small on this screen.
Usually two windows open with 10 to 20 tabs each one and connected to a monitor for dual screen. Trying to see if this lags and opt for the 16GB
